The actress joined Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. The actress made her debut in film by playing a minor character on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then appeared in the episodes New York Undercover and The District. Navedo appeared on Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Navedo starred in NBC's crime-drama Law & Order for a recurring part as Detective Ana Cordova between 2001 and 2004. Later, he starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo played in numerous different films, such as El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo had recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 through 2013. Navedo was a part of the Comedy film Superfast! The parody movie of The Fast and the Furious series debuted in the year 2015. Navedo launched her career as an actor in soap operas that aired during the daytime.
